Giflor has had quite a successful expansion year, with a number of ranges being recognized internationally as leading items in the beauty and personal care spaces. At this year's Interpack, the company showcased several of its flagship products to garner further exposure and make brands aware of the benefits of low profile closures.
One of Giflor's new developments is the bi-injected, double wall 50mm flip-top cap, article 850, for 24/410 bottle necks and a perfect choice for topping all sorts of bottle styles, from straight and elegant cylinder bottles to large tottle concepts designed for the shower or medicine cabinet.
This closure with a patented design offers the ideal dimensions to suit an expansive selection of bottles, from small sizes all the way up through 1000ml. The bi-injected, double wall 50mm flip-top cap features an innovative design which incorporates a handy finger recess into the top to make it easier to open and close. The hinge is expertly crafted to ensure perfect product use in the home and companies appreciate the fact that bi-injection molding means two colours can be used for product differentiation.
The new caps are part of Giflor's "Just Colors" range, a closure concept that has been dominating the space in recent years thanks to the added decoration possibilities offered. The advanced technology offered by the line allows a reduction in production times and cuts down on total energy consumption. There is no need for supplementary assembly between the lid with the base, bi-injection caps are produced in one process by one machine. The result is a series of caps in two colours that create a unique and contemporary piece of packaging with high shelf impact, less cost, less weight, and a much smaller CO2 footprint.
To take a look at the full line, visitors to Interpack in Dusseldorf were encouraged to stop by booth C48 on level 1 of Hall 7, where the Giflor team was available to answer questions.
